Quick, Easy, Crispy Masala Dosa (Potato Stuffed)

Preparing Potato stuffing for Masala Dosa

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 boiled potatoes
  • 3 chopped green chilies
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp chilly flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil Note: To make it more delicious and spicy you may add 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground coriander seed 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground cumin seeds

How to cook potato stuffing for Dosa?

1. Smash the potatoes but not completely

2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds until it pops

3. Add gradually cumin seeds, garlic, green chilies. Roast it for 1 or 2 minutes.

4. Now add Masala (turmeric powder, chilly flakes, salt)

Roast everything together for a while until the masala is cooked

5. Add potatoes into masala and let it cooked 2-3 minutes, then sprinkle coriander

How to cook Masala Dosa?

  1. Heat non-stick pan
  2. Sprinkle few drops of oil
  3. Pour 1 scoop of dosa batter and evenly spread in clockwise over the pan

4. Let it cook until it crispy from bottom and place the stuffing on the dosa and roll it

Let it mildly cook for a while to make it more crispy 🙂

And you may serve it with any chutney according to your choice
